OUR HISTORY

Sefton Education Business Partnership has been established since 1998 and is a ‘not for profit’ company, limited by guarantee.   

As part of an established national network of over 100 Education Business Partnerships we exist to create opportunities for businesses and young people to work together. 

OUR PARTNERS   

We work with Sefton local authority and are a key player in  their 14-19 partnership.   We are Sefton’s approved provider for pre-16 work experience, and also an approved provider for the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation.  We ensure quality of provision through our successful accreditation to recognized standards including Investors in People. We were the first EBP in Merseyside to achieve the Award for Education Business Excellence, and are one of only a handful of organisations in the north west to hold this award.  Please click here to see our press release giving more details of the award.

We enjoy fantastic relationships with key businesses in Sefton who give us their full support and commitment.  Without these local businesses we would not be able to provide such a full and varied programme of opportunities for Sefton’s young people.

OUR CUSTOMERS  

All Sefton’s local authority secondary and special schools buy into our services.  In addition we work closely with and provide services to our local colleges, Connexions and other partners, and together we all ensure that our programmes and activities are delivering the results and outcomes that the young people, the learning providers and the businesses of Sefton need.
